Hi Charles,

If you give us a room #, I'll make a point of coming for a visit.

Also Bruce Brown will have a tape deck there in the Blue Light audio room (definitely a must hear room for tape heads as Bruce always has some tasty tunes rolling!).

Thanks Myles...   The Blue Light Audio room will have an ATR-102 and the Usher/JPS room will have a modified Studer A80RC MkII

Where is the Blue Light Audio room? Wouldn't the King Levenson LNP-2 preamp be in the VTL room?

I think that in the VTL room I'd mentioned (there could be more than one room using Luke's electronics), I'm guessing that an Otari MTR-20 will be rolling tape through a built in (on?) Bottlehead Tube Repro. At least, that's what he used at the CAF a few months back.

Gotta admit who thought there would be so much vinyl, much less this many tape decks rolling at an audio show in 2011? Kind of boggles the noggin :)

So Blue Light is with ATR. Already had them on my list. This is shaping up to be an amazing show for reel to reel guys like me.

Kinda amazing huh?
This is more of what I envisioned when the TP first got off the ground. It makes sense to demo your gear with the best possible source.
I guess it's just like anything, it always seems to take twice as long as you might think.

We use Luke's Siegfried amps at the mastering studio with the Grand Utopias. And we showed together - Luke's amps and our Tube Repro - at CAS, where we both got very positive reviews along with Bob Hodas, who made the room sound amazing. Can't think of a better reason for us to show together with Luke again at RMAF. Not sure where Charlie will be showing his preamp, but I'm sure it will be worth seeking out.

Philip O'Hanlon will also be rolling tape on the SonoruS ATR10 in the 'On a Higher Note' room on the mezzanine level.

Hope you'll make it there too Arian.
Always nice to see you (and it was a pleasure to meet your lovely wife at CAS).
